Jayna Mcmillan

Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop

After growing up between Alberta and Saskatchewan, dancing throughout her early years (her favourite being Tap); Jayna made her way to Vancouver to study dance at the Simon Fraser University Fine Arts Program. From there, she trained and performed under names as companies such as Lux. Dance Company (Moses Christen/Contemporary) and TwoFourSeven Co. (Jerome Esplana/Hip Hop).

She also had the opportunity to train under the likes of Heather Laura Gray, Carlo Atienza, and Roberta Bierman to name a few. Her time there led her to gain a huge street style education to compliment her modern/ballet dance training she received at school. Now in Toronto as an instructor she focuses on Tap and Street Styles education, while also retaining her knowledge of a huge breadth of styles she can pull from at any moment.
