Kennedy Dale-Johnson was born in the prairies of Regina Saskatchewan. Beginning at a young age she trained in ballet, modern, and jazz, later adding flamenco and national folk dance to her repertoire. Kennedy had the opportunity to join The Youth Ballet Company of Saskatchewan for six seasons, finishing as a featured soloist. With the company she had a chance to work with many artists including Elizabeth Auclair, Karen Roes and Johanna Bundon and has performed across Saskatchewan, Alberta and Scotland.
Kennedy moved to Toronto to study at The National Ballet School of Canada’s Teacher Training Program and is beginning her third year in September. Through the program she has had the opportunity to study a multitude of subjects and participate with programs such as Sharing Dance to further her skills as a dance teacher. Kennedy is currently working towards her teaching accreditations with the Royal Academy of Dance and her associate in National Folk Dance through the ISTD. Kennedy is proud to be part of the Swansea School of Dance teaching staff.
